Around Boxtel, Best and Oirschot

First you drive into the Brabant countryside. Further on you cycle through the historic center of Boxtel. Here you will see the thirteenth-century St. Peter's Basilica. In the Dommeldal it is nice and quiet to cycle through an old cultural landscape of fields and meadows. You pass Slot Den Hulst, which originally dates from the fourteenth century. You drive through the Scheeken, a nature reserve where the characteristic poplar landscape of the Meierij is at its most beautiful. In the heart of Best you can take a look at the St. Odulphus Church. Further on you drive through the protected villagescape of Oirschot. You will see some beautiful monumental buildings here. The Maria Church is located on the Vrijthof: a twelfth-century building in Romanesque style. You will also pass St. Peter's Basilica from the fifteenth century. The route ends with a terrace at Hoeve 1827.
