The park forests near Brasschaat

Wonderful meandering along the park forests on the Belgian-Dutch border. It's so beautiful green here! Along the way you will spot many villas and even a castle.

Belgian Brasschaat
The route starts in the Municipal Park near Brasschaat, Belgium. Park Brasschaat originated in the eighteenth century. You cycle between many types of deciduous trees, some of which have been here for 150 years or even longer. In this park you can go to Brasserie Hemelhof for a drink and a delicious snack. There is also a castle from 1872. Brasschaat and the surrounding area are known for its many beautiful parks and nature reserves. It's fun cycling here!

Kapellenbos
Kapellenbos is a green neighborhood where you can spot many villas and country houses. From there you enter the Moretusbos, a cross-border forest. This jewel of a park forest has beautiful straight long avenues. It is wonderful to travel miles here. Along the way you will pass Plattelandswinkel Het Geleg, where you can browse in the extensive shop. Take some delicious fresh fruit with you, it will be available soon! Then you drive back to your starting point.
