Old Church

From the parking lot you leave via the village Ouderkerk a/d Amstel (older than Amsterdam). Ouderkerk is known for the Portuguese Cemetery Beth Haím where you can walk around on your own, not on Saturdays.

Calf Lane
From there along the river Amstel towards Amsterdam. Just before the city you turn into the Kalfjeslaan. This avenue dates from the 16th century and was also called the't Kleine Loopveld after the green strip that runs north of the entire avenue, and is part of the eco-ribbon along the southern edge of Amsterdam.

The Little Track
Along Het Spoortje you drive from Amstelveen to Bovenkerk. This was a railway line for steam trains from 1915 to 1950. The station building of Bovenkerk is still there. Via the Bovenkerkerpolder, the Legmeerpolder, the Westeinderplassen, the (Zuider-) Legmeerpolder to Vrouwenakker. From there you quickly arrive in Amstelhoek after which you can cross the river in Nes aan de Amstel with a ferry to arrive in the peat polder De Ronde Hoep.

Cycling on a high dike you can observe the view of cows in the Dutch meadow until you reach the parking lot again.
