Hanseatic city of Zutphen, the IJsselvallei and Veluwezoom

First you drive through the IJsselvallei. A beautiful cycling region thanks to the open landscape and quiet roads. On the other side of the river you cycle through Zutphen. This Hanseatic town has one of the best preserved old city centers in the Netherlands! South of the city you cycle close to the IJssel, the mighty river that brought the Hanseatic cities their wealth. Via Brummen you drive to one of the listening points of the Liberation Route, L24: Bridge to Freedom. Here you will learn more about the retreat of the Germans from Dieren. And then it's time for the Veluwezoom National Park, a hilly area where you can fully enjoy the silence while cycling among the coniferous and deciduous trees. The route ends at Holiday Village De Jutberg.
