Delfland has a patent on it! And then you will also find beautiful polders and green forests here. A feast for cyclists! Maasluis is a nice old place, here you can take a look around in the historic city center. Maasland is a centuries-old reclamation village. In 1574 this area was flooded when William of Orange had the dikes cut through to drive out the Spaniards. The beautiful old Schipluiden is also worth a visit. Then you cycle into the center of Delft with its characteristic atmosphere. You pass the fourteenth-century Nieuwe Kerk. Het Nieuwe Steen is the city hall from 1620 that was built around the tower, the Oude Steen: the oldest building in Delft.
