After having informed yourself well at VVV-Toerisme Houthalen-Helchteren you cycle through forests and meadows to Bokrijk, which is known as an open-air museum. Through the ponds behind the domain you cycle between the ponds on a sunken cycle path.'Cycling through the water\\\' this project is called, a fun experience! You see the water level at eye level. From the ponds you can now look through to the old buildings of the open-air museum. The museum is more than worth a visit.

City of Genk
Genk offers you a combination of cultural history and vast natural areas. Thanks to the coal mines, the Limburg city grew into one of the main industrial cities of Flanders. Now you can go shopping and have a nice dinner. Genk is surrounded by a quiet, almost untouched landscape. As early as the nineteenth century, rich people from Brussels and Ghent, but also artists and writers settled here to be vitalized and inspired by the landscape.
