Tour along the Rotte near Rotterdam

Around Rotterdam you will find numerous large and small rivers and lakes along which beautiful cycling paths lead. This way you drive in and out of the center almost unnoticed, an experience! Shortly after the start you can have a coffee at Restaurant de Berghut. You first drive a long way along the Rotte, the peat river to which Rotterdam owes its name. It is wonderfully quiet cycling along this meandering river. Before you know it you'll be right in the center! You can already see the Euromast from afar: with its 185-metre-high top, it is the highest observation tower in the Netherlands. You drive right past Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen, nice to get off for a while. The further east you cycle, the more rural Rotterdam becomes.
