From Ursem you drive through rural West Friesland. From the saddle you look out over ditches, bell-shaped farms and vast meadows where cows graze peacefully. Just below Spanbroek you will see the Westerveer: a polder mill from 1873. In Wognum you will pass the Reformed Church from the fifteenth century. Diagonally opposite this church is a mansion from 1879, further on on the left you will see a bell-shaped farm from 1626. The Kerkepolder mill dates from 1866. Via the former village of Blokker you drive to the historic heart of Hoorn. On the Oostereiland you can visit the Museum of the Twentieth Century. You drive along the Markermeer to Scharwoude and Avenhorn. Finally, just before Ursem you cycle along the beautiful Mijzenpolder.
