Tour of Haarzuilens from Utrecht

After a cup of coffee at Carlton President Hotel, put on your walking shoes. From Utrecht you can easily walk to the lovely Haarzuilens, a beautiful village that was moved eastwards at the end of the nineteenth century on behalf of the owner of Kasteel de Haar. The castle can be visited, as can the beautiful gardens. The beautiful village is mainly known for the nearby castle, but it is also a nice place to soak up the atmosphere. If the route is a little longer, continue walking to the impressive castle. It is worth a visit, as are the gardens. The original fortress was probably built in the 12th century, the ruins served as the basis for the current castle in 1892. The new Parkbos de Haar is located west of Kasteel de Haar.
