Discover the 5 nature reserves around Heeze

Your route starts at Heidecafé De Strabrechtse Heide. Around Heeze you will find a typical Kempen landscape with small differences in height, extensive forests and heathlands and mysterious fens. You cycle from one nature reserve to the next. You immediately cycle onto the Strabrechtse Heide, with 1500 ha the largest heathland in the South of the Netherlands. You will also find the largest fen in the country here: the Beuven. You cycle past numerous smaller fens out of the heathland again. You soon cycle through the Somerense Heide. De Pan, a little further on, consists of the three connected estates De Pan, De Boksenberg and De Vroolijke Jager. Another stretch through the forests and heathland of the Leenderbos and the Groote Heide nature reserve, then you cycle above Heeze to your starting point.
