Discover the 5 nature reserves around Heeze

Your route starts at Heidecafé De Strabrechtse Heide. Around Heeze you will find a typical Kempen landscape with small height differences, vast forests and heaths and mysterious fens. You can cycle from one nature reserve to another. You immediately cycle onto the Strabrechtse Heide, with 1500 ha the largest heath in the South of the Netherlands. You will also find the largest fen in the country here: the Beuven. You drive out of the heathland along numerous smaller fens. You will soon be cycling through the Somerense Heide. De Pan, a little further on, consists of the three contiguous estates De Pan, De Boksenberg and De Vroolijke Jager. Another piece through the woods and heathland of the Leenderbos and the Groote Heide nature reserve, then you drive past Heeze to your starting point.
