Old Loosdrecht
You walk to the nice Oud-Loosdrecht, which still exudes the atmosphere of times gone by. On the dike you can see many eighteenth and nineteenth century houses and farms. Ideal for exploring on foot!
Loosdrecht Forest
Via Nieuw-Loosdrecht you walk into the Loosdrechtse Bos. What a variation: after all the water and old farms you suddenly walk here between the deciduous and coniferous trees. Further on you walk onto the Kromme Rade, the former border between the regions of Holland and Utrecht. It is wonderfully quiet here amidst the legakkers, reed fields, trees and ditches. This way you can optimally enjoy the Loosdrechtse Plassen!
