Cycling through the Graafschap National Landscape

The route starts at Landhotel De Hoofdige Boer. Enjoy something tasty before you cycle to the first sight: Den Bramel. The current villa dates from 1726, although the history of this country estate dates back to the fourteenth century. After you have cycled through picturesque Vorden, you will pass Vorden Castle, built in 1610. What a picture! In the outlying area you regularly pass characteristic Saxon farms. Molen Ons Belang is a corn mill from 1890. Further on you drive through the beautiful Ruurlo. Here you can see, among other things, the village church from 1350. In the woods of nature reserve Het Grote Veld, the kilometers seem to pass by themselves, while you drive between the fragrant conifers. In Almen you can visit the recently opened Museum Staal, which is dedicated to the Achterhoek and the poet Staring.
