Description
The route starts in the Dutch Maria-Hoop, but immediately crosses the border to the German Waldfeucht. This is the southernmost point of this long-distance route. Here the Duchy of Gelre bordered the Duchy of Jülich and the Prince-Bishopric of Liège. Then you cycle along the German-Dutch border in a northerly direction to Karken, before turning off to the eastern Wassenberg.
