LDF Coast and green heart

You know it, where should we cycle today? The roads around the house are now very familiar and even a bit boring. So you try to introduce a new variant.

This route has quite a few busier roads, especially in October when everyone is back to work. (most of them). Not surprising of course in the crowded west. yet there are a number of very quiet and peaceful sections on this route, such as:

* the Dune area of course, not many recreationists on this gray day.

* Very beautiful area and quiet from junction 40, through the Meyendel estate and the Wassenaar suburbs.

* The Green Heart as it is intended from KNP 26, the cities and highways visible in the distance, but an oasis of peace in the polder. (buy a nice piece of farmer's cheese along the way, never seen so many cheese farms.)

I would not copy the route as a whole 1 to 1, but there are also very nice tours in the west, be sure to cycle through the villages, most of them also have their charm.
