This cycle route leads you through the Abeek valley. In this eye-catching decor you will experience a refreshing silence and see some historical sights.
Dorpermolen
The route starts with a coffee and a snack at De Dorpermolen. This cozy catering location is located in a watermill on the Abeek. As early as the fifteenth century, a ban mill of the Episcopal Table in Liège stood here. The current building dates from 1758. This beautiful place is considered a protected village view! Then you drive through the beautiful village of Meeuwen. You will experience the characteristic Limburg conviviality here.
Old farms
In the countryside you cycle through the Abeek valley. Here you will find a mosaic of fields, grasslands and forests. It is wonderfully quiet cycling here. Along the way you will see some beautiful old farms. Just before Ellikom you cross the Abeek. A nice place to get off and enjoy the natural beauty.
