To the Sallandse Heuvelrug from Twente

Your route starts at Esch Camping Kaampert. You will first pass Vreest Niet, a flour mill from 1842. You will soon cycle past Rijssen. The Rijssen-Holten region is a three-region point: here Salland, Twente and the Achterhoek come together, all beautiful authentic areas. You will experience a wonderful silence here while enjoying the rural views. It is sometimes a bit of a climb on the Sallandse Heuvelrug, but the views are a great reward for your effort. The ancient juniper bushes are especially beautiful. You descend briefly to Eetcafe De Droadnagel in Haarle. Enjoy a refreshing terrace here before you drive back into the woods on the Sallandse Heuvelrug. The last kilometers you drive through an idyllic scenic landscape. It's fun here!
