Discover the Open Line at Oosterhout

Between Oosterhout, Breda, Rijen and Dorst you will find the landscape park De Open Linie. There is much to discover here, from open polder area to a dense pine forest and even an esdorp. Via the hamlet of Vrachelen, where you can see a summer oak from the eighteenth century, the so-called Heilige Eik, you cycle to the beautiful Den Hout. This is a real esdorp, something you do not often come across in Brabant. It is therefore not surprising that it enjoys a protected village view! A little later you follow the blue ribbon of the Markkanaal. For a change, you cycle further on through the extensive Boswachterij Dorst.
