Walking near Bergen aan Zee

Bergen aan Zee is the ideal environment for a refreshing walk. You walk along the sea and through the dunes. And of course you can enjoy a drink on a terrace. The route starts in the Schoorlse Duinen. Walking along the Verspyckweg you will pass a number of monumental buildings. Such as the Zeehuis, a former convalescent home for children that originally dates from 1908. In Bergen aan Zee you cross the dunes to the beach. Enjoy a breath of fresh sea air while you walk along the surf. When the weather is nice you can take off your shoes to dip your feet. In the Noordhollandsch Duinreservaat a slightly undulating dune landscape awaits you. Further on you can sit down on the pleasant terrace of De Duinerij, before you walk back to the car park via the forests of the Schoorlse Duinen.
