Enjoy the nature around Hilversum

This route around Hilversum first takes you across the Zuiderheide. Then you cycle through Hilversum with its beautiful old buildings, enjoy! South of the media city you drive through heathland and forests. Further on you drive through the vast moors with their characteristic ribbon villages. Near Tienhoven you pass the Trouwe Waghter, a former polder mill from 1832. Sypesteyn Castle is a moated castle that was rebuilt at the beginning of the twentieth century on the foundations of its predecessor. There is a museum in the castle, and you can also visit the castle garden. The route ends as it began: in the vast heathlands and forests above Hilversum.
