Gelderland 11 | Contacts back and forth: Kotten – Aalten

The route from Kotten to Aalten runs from east to west and passes a cross-border nature reserve. The Wooldse Veen forms a whole with the Burlo-Varingholter-Venn. It is a marsh and heath area with special plant and animal species. An old smuggling route to Germany runs right through the area.
