Description
The Veluwezoom is known for'Gelders Arcadia\\\', the landscape of extensive estates, country estates and castles. Wonderful to discover by bike! On this route you visit the western part of the area, between De Hoge Veluwe National Park and the Lower Rhine on the south side. A particularly varied landscape with many beautiful panoramas. Castle Doorwerth was completely destroyed during WWII. After about 40 km you will pass Restaurant Planken Wambuis, where you can enjoy a well-deserved snack or drink.
