Enjoy cycling through the Loonse & Drunense Dunes

The Loonse & Drunense Duinen National Park is known for its vast sandy plain. However, you can also enjoy cycling through the woods. What silence you experience here!

Historical Helvoirt
Here you will see, among other things, the Town Hall, House Jachtlust and the fifteenth-century village church. In the countryside you drive through a mosaic of forest, fields and grasslands. Just before you cross the canal, you drive a bit through a dark forest. The landscape then opens up to the vast polders that lie just below Nieuwkuijk.

The Strijdhoeve
You cross the canal again, after which you enter the Loonse and Drunense Duinen. The cycle path leads you for miles through the woods. You enjoy the coolness under the canopy of large deciduous trees. Take a deep breath and smell the freshness of the conifers. On the edge of Udenhout you pass De Strijdhoeve, a moated mansion from 1760. Further on you will see some monumental farms of the Kempen long-gable type.
