Tour of Purmerend from Edam

In the city center of Purmerend you can see some beautiful monumental buildings, such as the ancient Koemarkt. The Lutheran Church dates from 1880. Further on you drive past the Melkweg Bridge, a nice sight. Climb it for a nice view! After you have cycled a bit through the polder, you reach the river De Zaan. And that means enjoying old factory buildings and warehouses, such as on the quay in Wormer. In the Dorpsstraat there are still a few centuries-old wooden houses and farms. Just outside the village you will see the Koker, a flour mill from 1866. You will also see many old buildings in neighboring Jisp. What a beautiful region! You also drive back to Edam via Purmerend.
