Tour of Denekamp and Singraven Estate

Your route starts at Pannenkoekenhuis Bolle Jan. You walk a bit through Denekamp, you see the old Sint-Niklaas Church and the Town Hall from 1920. It is a beautiful place where you will find nice sights and the characteristic Twente geniality. In the countryside it is wonderful to walk through the scenic landscape. You also walk a bit along the banks of the Dinkel, an idyllic and quiet spot. Here lies the eighteenth-century star forest of Borgbeuningen, a country house with a centuries-old history. Just outside Denekamp you walk across the Singraven Estate. You walk through a mosaic of park forest, grasslands and the Dinkel, a river that still meanders in the old-fashioned way. The current country house dates from the seventeenth century, the current Singraven Mill from 1880.
