A day of walking through the Dutch dunes? Then come to the North Holland Dune Reserve. And experience, besides the natural beauty, also an impressive silence!
Water supply dunes
From here you can walk straight into the Waterleidingduinen. This area was established in 1853 as the first water extraction area in the Netherlands, today it is part of the North Holland Dune Reserve. You will find plenty of natural beauty and peace here, ideal for recharging your batteries.
Lookout tower
You initially walk through a mix of deciduous and old pines. A little later you walk through the dunes. At the edge of the next forest area is Kijk Uit, a monumental gamekeeper's house from 1900. You walk many kilometers through the forests before you reach the starting point. Here is a lookout tower on the 26 meter high Kruisberg. You have a beautiful panorama of the area here!
