A day in The Hague and the dunes

From Scheveningen you can drive straight into the dunes near The Hague. In the royal city itself it is wonderful to cycle past the many sights.

Westduin Park
The route starts in Scheveningen, a great base for exploring the Dutch coast. A little later you cycle into the Westduinpark: a varied nature reserve with dense forests, open plains, steep slopes and viewpoints that protrude more than 30 meters above sea level. Here you can enjoy many kilometers of natural beauty and of course the silence! In the old village of Monster you pass the Reformed Church, a fourteenth-century hall church.

South Park
In the Westland you also drive through picturesque towns such as Honselersdijk and Kwintsheul. You drive into The Hague via the Haagse Uithof. You pass through the Zuiderpark, among other things. This national monument was built in the interwar period and is regarded as the first Dutch public park. In the center of The Hague you can enjoy the special historical atmosphere. You drive through the Haagse Bos, after which you cycle through Landgoed Oosterbeek and Park Clingendael. What a beautiful nature!
