From Grave you drive into the Brabant countryside. And you immediately notice that: it is wonderfully quiet here! Cycling between the mosaic of fields, grasslands, forests and streams you can completely relax. You drive along the edges of the Reekse Heide nature reserve. Here is the Hellemolen, a restored flour mill from 1832. The Mariamolen is a flour mill from 1802. It is one of the few hexagonal mills that still exist in the Netherlands. Further on you cycle through the Ossenbroek Estate, where you will see a mix of forest, cultivated land, oak avenues and hedgerows. However small Grave is, the fortified town has approximately 130 national monuments. You will find a nice historic atmosphere here. Café de Gouden Leeuw dates from 1750. This former hotel is now a cozy café.
