Gourmet route on both sides of the Meuse

In North Limburg, a cyclist's heart will automatically start beating faster. You will find beautiful nature reserves, villages with sights to see, and, of course, the Burgundian way of life. The route starts in Broekhuizen, a beautiful village on the Meuse in Limburg. You cycle into the Schuitwater: a nature reserve surrounding the remnants of several old arms of the Meuse. On the edge of the rose village of Lottum stands the Borggraaf, a monumental country house dating back to 1551. On the other side of the Meuse, too, nature and old villages alternate. Via the Houthuizerheide, you ride to the stopover at Eetcafe 't Pleintje. On the Geijsteren Estate, you cycle through quiet forests. Wonderful! In Blitterswijck, you make a pit stop at Fiets- en Wandelcafe De Zwart.
