From the Bommelerwaard to the Loonse and Drunense Duinen

The route starts at Bed and Breakfast Oan d\\\'n Kikkerdijk, a cozy and comfortable overnight address in Aalst, Gelderland. You ride your legs loose on the dike along the Afgedamde Maas, where you have a beautiful view of the flowery floodplains. You pass the Gebr. Remmerde, an eighteenth-century flour mill. You cross the Maas, after which you drive via Drunen into the Loonse and Drunense Duinen. The further you drive into the forest, the quieter it becomes. And suddenly you cycle into Giersbergen, a hamlet with beautiful monumental farms. You return through the polders towards the Maas. You cross the river, after which you drive over the dike to Wijk and Aalburg. Here you will see the Twee Gebroeders, a flour mill from 1872. You will also pass the centuries-old village church.
