This almost 30 kilometer long ring road is an absolute must for all walkers who have a thing for trains. Actually, the walk is beautiful for everyone; the impressive railway bridge you will encounter along the way is the largest limestone bridge in Europe. Hence the name "Viadukt Wanderweg\\".
Luminous arcs
You can walk the Viadukt Wanderweg in about nine hours. A tip: make sure you reach the railway bridge around sunset; the high arches of the bridge are spectacularly illuminated. Can't get enough of this arched bridge; the Viadukt Wanderweg takes you past a lot of photo spots where you have a nice view over the bridge.
Karst springs and streams
The ring road is not only dedicated to the railway bridge. While hiking you will also discover the versatile nature along the Egge Mountains, full of karst springs, streams and rocky and wooded ridges. Along the way you will discover the story behind the famous "Max & Moritz spring\\" and you can take a seat on the "Eggesofa\\\'s\\".
