This ring road introduces you to the area around the town of Höxter. This beautiful piece of nature is mainly characterized by orchids, beech forests, steep rocks and beautiful views over the river Weser.
Walk through paradise
A ten-kilometer ring road takes you through a special part of the Teutoburg Forest. Make sure you have good walking shoes, because some parts are quite steep. From the valley of the Weser you walk along the wooded slopes to the plateaus on the Brunsberg and Ziegenberg. From here, your strenuous climb is rewarded with a magnificent view of the Weser and the peaks of untouched beech forests.

This circular route over the Brunsberg and Ziegenberg is part of the hiking trail "Erlesene Natur\\". The route is indicated with the"Erlesene Natur\\" logo. Höxter, easy to reach by both car and public transport Don't forget to visit the Rodeneckturm en route.
