Tour Weert Southside

From Maarheeze via the station to junction 84 and from here follow the junctions. The exit to the Grenskerk monument comes quite quickly and somewhat unexpectedly. Although unpaved (gravel), it is an easily passable road. At the end of the road with a straight-link bend you arrive at a narrow path  through the Weerter forest. You pass the monument here. Where the path goes down a bit steeper, turn right towards Laar. In Laar just go straight everywhere. and after crossing the Weert ring road (N275) you can choose to go via the junctions, but we have chosen to drive through Weert via the district'het Groene Woud\\\' to avoid the center . In that case, via the Roermondse at Autotaalgras, cross the railway to Swartbroek. The route goes around Swartbroek via a nice cycle path. Then to Tungelroy and on to Altweerterheide. 

The landscape is very varied. Sometimes forest, sometimes fields, but also nature reserve. 

Then back via the IJzerenman, over the lock and via the Buulse Bergen back to Maarheeze.
