Cycling through Noordwijk and the dunes

This route takes you through Noordwijk and the dunes. First you drive past the bulb fields and the Oosterduinse Meer to Noordwijkerhout. Here you can admire the monumental White Church from 1300. Further on you will pass the landscape park of Landgoed Leeuwenhorst. There are many monumental buildings in the old village center of Noordwijk, ranging from simple houses to mansions. What a nice atmosphere! The Coepelduynen used to be a dune strip that was used as a field, to dry nets or as a pasture area. Nowadays the dunes form a varied nature reserve of dune grasslands, shrublands and forest. In Noordwijk aan Zee you drive along the boulevard, where you will see, among other things, the monumental lighthouse. You cycle through the dunes to the end point of this beautiful route: DE JONG Kampeer & Recreation HILLEGOM-DE ZILK.
