Tour of Best, Middelbeers and Oirschot

Best is the starting point for this route, full of natural and cultural beauty. After crossing the Wilhelmina Canal, you'll cycle through Batadorp. This neighborhood was built in 1934 for the workers of the Bata shoe factory. The original buildings are a protected village view. From junction 49, you'll cross the woods of the Oirschotse Heide. Via Oostelbeers, you'll continue to Middelbeers. Stop here at Lunchroom & IJssalon Meesterlijk. Enjoy a delicious and extensive lunch in the charming garden before cycling on to the Baest Estate. Along the leafy canal banks, you'll continue to Oisterwijk. In the historic heart of this village, you'll see, among other things, the 15th-century St. Peter's Basilica. Finally, you'll cycle through the Mortelen, an authentic bocage landscape of poplar groves, coniferous forests, and grasslands and farmland.
