By bike through the idyllic Twente

You start this route at Restaurant met Speeltuin Kakelbont. A unique location to enjoy a terrace with coffee or something tasty before you cycle into the countryside. Here you will find the famous Twente bocage landscape of rolling fields, streams and bushes. What is it nice to make kilometers here. Ootmarsum is one of the most beautiful towns in Twente, mainly because it has managed to retain its historic character well. You automatically switch back here to enjoy the special and friendly atmosphere. About halfway through, you can make a stop at Kakelbont before cycling to Lattrop. Further on you drive past Bergvennen, a nature reserve with moist grasslands and fens. Via the beautiful Tilligte you drive back to Kakelbont. Time to refuel!
