What immediately stands out: the tranquility! You then walk into the Zeegserduinen, a shifting sand area where you will find heather, flies, birch and oak. A little later you look out from the path on the stream valley of the Schipborgsediep, as the Drentsche Aa is called here. Along the water are beautiful hay meadows where dotters, orchids and blue button bloom. You can see wooded banks in various places. Time seems to have stood still here.
