Cycling along the Lower Rhine is a wonderful way to cover many miles. You'll cycle primarily along the floodplains, where you'll find peace and quiet. You'll also pass the Gelderland Narrow Gauge Railway Museum and Heimerstein Castle.

Enjoy a breath of fresh air. After boarding, you'll cycle along the edge of Rhenen to the Lower Rhine. You'll cross the river via a bridge. You'll have a beautiful view; in the distance, you'll see, among other things, the 80-meter-high tower of the Cunera Church. Then you'll cycle along the dike, skirting the floodplains. Enjoy a breath of fresh air while enjoying the peace and quiet!

Randwijk Brickworks At Randwijk Brickworks GSS, you'll find the Gelderland Narrow Gauge Railway Museum and a monumental brickworks. Here, bricks are baked the old-fashioned way using a coal-fired ring kiln. You can cross the river by ferry, after which you cycle for miles along the dike. You'll pass, among other things, the Blauwe Kamer nature reserve. Further on, you'll pass Heimerstein Castle. After the original castle was completely destroyed during the Battle of Grebbeberg in 1940, it was rebuilt in 1946.
