A day of walking on the Veluwe

On the Veluwe you can take another long walk through the forests and heathlands. You will also pass the monumental and striking Jachthuis St. Hubertus.

Spotting wildlife
The walk starts at Holiday Park De Rimboe and Woeste Hoogte , a beautiful holiday park where you can stay in nature. You first walk a bit through Hoenderloo, a village that was founded in 1839. Then you walk into the vast forests. How quiet it is here on the Veluwe! You will pass one of the game stands that have been constructed to spot game. To be on the safe side, take your binoculars with you!

Kröller-Müller
Jachthuis St. Hubertus is the former country estate of the famous couple Kröller-Müller. The building, inspired by English country houses, was designed in 1914 by the prominent architect Berlage. Not only the castle is his work, but also the entire interior, the gardens, the service buildings and the bridge. The hunting lodge can be visited at set times via a guided tour. After your route, you can enjoy something delicious in the restaurant of Vakantiepark De Rimboe and Woeste Hoogte.
