Walking through the polders near Stompwijk

In Stompwijk you will see some turning and drawbridges along the canal. You soon walk into the countryside. What endless views you will find here in the vast polders! Walking along the Ommedijksche Watering you can fully enjoy the peace and quiet. On the path along the Geerweg you walk past the many pollard willows, on the other side mainly shrubs grow. You can make a pit stop at Boerderij 't Geertje. All the goodies here come from the farm, the bakery and from other small-scale entrepreneurs in the area. In the Prielenbos, nature is allowed to take its course. Always fun, such a nice, rugged forest. There is a good chance that you will spot a bird of prey there.
