Walking through the polders near Stompwijk

In Stompwijk you will see a few swing and drawbridges along the canal. You will soon enter the countryside. What endless views you will find here in the vast polders! Walking along the Ommedijksche Watering you will enjoy the peace and quiet. On the path along the Geerweg you will walk past the many pollard willows, on the other side mainly shrubs grow. At Boerderij 't Geertje you can take a pit stop. All the goodies here come from the farm, the bakery and from other small-scale entrepreneurs in the area. In the Prielenbos nature is allowed to take its course. Always nice, such a nice rugged forest. There is a good chance that you will spot a bird of prey.
