Posbank Tour

This route takes you through the Loenense Bos and over the Veluwezoom. After getting on your bike, you cycle through the countryside at your leisure to Eerbeek and Loenen, two picturesque villages. A little later you cycle into the slightly undulating Loenense Bos. You can fully enjoy the fresh air. The vast forests are interrupted for a moment by Hoenderloo, after which you cycle back into nature. At listening point L29: Deelen and Diogenes you can hear more about the role of Deelen airfield and the enormous Diogenes bunker during the war. Further on you can visit Museum Vliegbasis Deelen during the weekend. Then you cycle into De Veluwezoom, the oldest national park in the Netherlands, from 1930.
