The showpieces of Utrecht

From Bilthoven you descend to the vast peat polders. You pass Landgoed Persijn, further on you cycle through the picturesque Westbroek. Molenpolder is a beautiful nature reserve that was created by peat extraction. Along the Stichtse Vecht you cycle to Oud-Zuilen, here you can take a look at Slot Zuylen that largely dates from the beginning of the sixteenth century. Then the historic center of Utrecht awaits you. So many beautiful old buildings, such a nice atmosphere: what a treat to cycle through here. At the edge of the city you cycle into the Amelisweerd where you come across Fort Rhijnauwen, among other things.
