A PIECE OF UNIQUE HISTORY
The German Lijntje has an eventful history dating back more than a century. Between 1873 and 2004, people and goods were alternately transported on this unique east-west connection between London - Berlin - St. Petersburg. Members of royal families and tsar families traveled via the German Line to visit each other. Dutch and German pilgrims found their way to pilgrimage sites such as Kevelaer and visited the processions in Boxmeer, Handel and Boxtel.
