ED Cycling in the footsteps of Van Gogh: Nuenen - Stiphout - Geldrop

In the wider region around Nuenen there are places that are connected to Van Gogh, and at some of them you can easily hold a drawing or painting next to it. As a 30-year-old, Vincent temporarily returned to live at home in Nuenen, because he was lonely in Drenthe where he was working at the time. Opposite the Vincentre is the house where the family lived and where Vincent had his studio, in a shed in the garden. He painted like a man possessed in Nuenen - after all, there were plenty of poor farmers to portray here, his favorite subject at the time.
