ED A sea of conifers: Leende - Maarheeze - Sterksel

The Zevenhuizense heide is a typical heathland area with many landscaped paths, so that you as a cyclist can get the most out of your route. The strongly meandering Sterkselse Aa forms the natural separation between the heathland and the village. In Sterksel there is a statue of an ox, which plays a role during carnival. The local inhabitants made it as a reminder of the extraction, during which fourteen oxen were used. But it is certainly also worthwhile to take a look at other beautiful sights in Sterksel, such as the St. Catherine's Church, the narrow-gauge railway or the Hoef aan de Pan.
