Winding through Veluwezoom and IJsselvallei

This route is full of variety. From Dieren you first cross the IJssel - with a ferry, always fun! You then drive through the floodplains to the Bronkhorster mill from 1844. You also pass Bronkhorst. It is worth driving into the village itself: thanks to the many monumental buildings, there is a historic atmosphere. You can cross the IJssel again with a ferry and drive via Brummen to the Veluwezoom. You drive past the striking seventeenth-century building Nieuw Spaensweerd into the National Park. This hilly area contains extensive old forests where it is wonderfully quiet. The last part goes downhill, back to the Peerdestal. Enjoy a well-deserved drink here!
