The route leads you through Roerdalen, a tranquil region in Central Limburg. The picturesque villages here are worthwhile: outside Vlodrop you will also discover the nice Posterholt today. But first you walk to the basin of the Rur. This tributary of the Meuse meanders beautifully through the landscape here. Meadows, fields and deciduous and coniferous forests stretch out around you.

The most beautiful places here have been declared Lucky Places by the residents. This walking route takes you to Happiness Spot 23 Roerdalen: The Fishermen of the Groene Bleek. Take a seat on the picnic bench at this fish pond or find a fishing spot close to the water.
