Tour of Olst: from IJssel to Salland

From your starting point you can cycle straight into pleasant Olst. Here you see the thirteenth-century village church. Further on is Bökkers Mölle, a flour mill from 1895. Around Olst you cycle through a semi-open landscape of meadows, fields and streams. On the banks of the IJssel you can enjoy beautiful views. There is a lookout tower at the former brick factory on Fortmonderweg. From above you have beautiful views of the IJssel and the surrounding landscape. At junction 54 you can take a look at De Gelder, a fourteenth-century estate, from the leafy road. The original manor was demolished in 1913 and replaced by a villa. Further on there is another old manor: Boxbergen. This building dates from the seventeenth century. Stop off at Het Wapen Van Wesepe along the way!
