Tour of Olst: from IJssel to Salland

From your starting point, you can cycle straight into the pleasant Olst. Here you can see the thirteenth-century village church. Further on is Bökkers Mölle, a corn mill from 1895. Around Olst you cycle through a semi-open coulisse landscape of meadows, fields and streams. On the banks of the IJssel you can enjoy beautiful views. At the former brick factory on the Fortmonderweg there is a lookout tower. From above you have beautiful views over the IJssel and the surrounding landscape. At junction 54 you can take a look at De Gelder, a fourteenth-century estate, from the leafy road. The original manor house was demolished in 1913 and replaced by a villa. Further on is another old manor house: Boxbergen. This building dates back to the seventeenth century. On the way, stop off at Het Wapen Van Wesepe!
