From Bathmen to the Sallandse Heuvelrug

Around Bathmen you cycle through a lovely scenic landscape of streams, forests and grasslands. In addition to lots of natural beauty, you will also see historic buildings, such as Saxon farms, during this route. In Bathmen you will pass the fifteenth-century village church. Further on there are two beautiful flour mills. In Oude Molen you see De Leeuw, which dates from 1856. In Dijkerhoek you pass the Hegeman from 1890. After a while, the forests of the Sallandse Heuvelrug appear on the horizon. In atmospheric Holten you can take a look at the village church built in 1832 with its beautiful white tower.
