Cycling route around Bathmen

Cycling through the countryside around Bathmen is wonderful. You'll mainly cycle on quiet roads, allowing you to leisurely enjoy the tranquility and a landscape of farmland, streams, and tree-lined avenues. From junction 8, you'll briefly cycle along the Schipbeek, a small river that flows into the IJssel River near Deventer. In Dortherhoek, you'll see several beautiful old farmhouses, and further along, you'll see Dorth, a country house dating back to 1930, from the road. You'll enter Bathmen along the Schipbeek. Here you'll pass, among other things, the Reformed Church, whose tower dates back to the fifteenth century. Most of the nave was rebuilt in 1870. In Lettele, after stopping, you can enjoy a delicious meal at Restaurant BRAS-KOER.
