Description
Between Gelderse Laren and Gorssel you will make a beautiful bike ride. Just before you leave Laren, you will pass the Reformed Church. This water board church dates from 1835 and was built in neoclassical style. You cycle through the countryside on car-free roads. Here you can enjoy the peace and quiet of a landscape consisting of agricultural land, streams and tree-lined avenues. You cycle through the forest of the Harfsense Veld, further on you will come through the nature reserve of the Gorsselse Heide. In the hamlet of Joppe you will see the striking Onze Lieve Vrouw Tenhemelopnemingskerk, a monument from 1868. Further on you cycle through the estate De Oxerhof. The villa and the landscape park in English style date from 1862.
