Description
You can take a nice bike ride between Laren and Gorssel in Gelderland. Just before you leave Laren, you pass the Reformed Church. This water management church dates from 1835 and was built in neoclassical style. You cycle through the countryside on car-free roads. Here you can enjoy a landscape consisting of agricultural lands, streams and tree-lined avenues in peace and quiet. You drive through the forest of the Harfsense Veld, further on you pass through the Gorsselse Heide nature reserve. In the hamlet of Joppe you will see the striking Our Lady of the Assumption Church, a monument from 1868. Further on you drive through the De Oxerhof estate. The villa and the English-style landscape park date from 1862. After disembarking, enjoy a tasty snack and drink at Grand Café Bistro-rant't Langenbaergh.
