A round of Bathmen and Gorssel

In this nice village you can see the beautiful fifteenth-century village church, the tower has a saddle roof. Then you cycle a bit along the Schipbeek, a lovely route where you can fully enjoy the rural beauty and tranquility. Near the IJssel you pass the Ravenswaarden. This unique nature reserve is one of the best-preserved Dutch winding values. During your route you will not lack historic buildings. For example, you pass the Molen Geertruida Cornelia, a flour mill from 1893. Further on you pass Dorth, a castle whose origins date back to the fourteenth century. You will also pass Klein-Dennenbosch, a small paradise. Works by more than thirty artists are displayed in this beautiful park. Worth a visit!
