Schuurkerk
In Lekkerkerk you will pass the sixteenth-century Johanneskerk. In the polder you see many meadows that are separated by straight ditches. A wonderful Dutch landscape. You will also pass through the Loetbos, which is located on the river De Loet. The old Schuurkerk Berkenwoude dates from the time when followers of non-officially permitted religions came together in sermon barns and hidden churches.
Schollebos
Just past Achterbroek, a piece of traditional Dutch cultural history awaits you when you cycle across the Gouderakse Landscheid: a medieval reclamation dike. Along the Hollandse IJssel you drive through the picturesque Moordrecht. A little later you drive through the Schollebos, a park laid out in English landscape style around 1980.
