In Lekkerkerk you will pass, among other things, the sixteenth-century Johanneskerk. In the polder you see many meadows that are separated by straight ditches. A lovely Dutch landscape. You will also pass through the Loetbos, which is located on the river De Loet. The old Barn Church Berkenwoude dates from the time when followers of unofficially permitted religions came together in preaching sheds and secret churches.

Schollebos
Just past Achterbroek, a piece of quintessential Dutch cultural history awaits you when you cycle over the Gouderakse Landscheid: a medieval reclamation dike. You drive along the Hollandse IJssel through the picturesque Moordrecht. A little later you drive through the Schollebos, a park built in the English landscape style around 1980.
